Deep Canvassing

Our largest group of volunteers will tell their stories to voters and help new and infrequent voters make it to the polls this November.

Roles:
• Canvass Captain
– organize canvass events
• Canvass Volunteer
– call people and tell your story
• Story Workshop Captain
– organize story workshops
• Deep Canvassing Coach
– help people learn how to tell their story

Here are the steps to volunteer:
1) Attend a deep canvassing workshop.
2) Sign up for weekend canvass events.
3) Contact our leadership team if you would like to be trained as a deep canvassing coach.

Data & Communications

Help us organize our voter lists and let people know about our project through data entry, videography, social media, and more.

Roles:
• Videographer
– record people’s stories
• Communications Volunteer
– Promote events and our organization
• Data Volunteer
– record our work and help find new and infrequent voters

Here are the steps to volunteer:
1) Contact us to be matched with a volunteer role.
2) Complete training.
3) Schedule time to volunteer.
4) Check in with leadership for support and to let us know your results.

Recruitment & Voter Support

Help organize volunteers, support voters to get to the polls, tell our story to the media, and reach out to groups with similar goals.

Roles:
• Recruitment Volunteer
– invite people to join us
• Voter Support Captain
– organize the voter support team
• Voter Support Volunteer
– Help voters with registration and absentee ballots
